Welcome to Endless Curiosity ("the Service"), a knowledge discovery platform operated at endlesscuriosity.net. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. About the Service

Endless Curiosity is a content aggregation platform that surfaces publicly available knowledge from third-party sources including Wikipedia, NASA, arXiv, The Guardian, YouTube, Project Gutenberg, Quanta Magazine, Aeon, Smithsonian Magazine, iNaturalist, MedlinePlus, EuropePMC, World Bank, Hacker News, and various other educational APIs. We do not own or create this content — all articles, images, videos, and data are sourced from these providers and link back to their originals.

2. Content Attribution

• Wikipedia — Content licensed under CC BY-SA 4.0
• NASA — Astronomy images and content are public domain per NASA media guidelines
• arXiv — Research papers under open access licenses per arXiv policy
• The Guardian — Articles via the Guardian Open Platform API
• Project Gutenberg — Public-domain books (US copyright expired)
• YouTube — Educational videos embedded via the official YouTube/youtube-nocookie iframe player; all rights reserved by their respective creators and channels (e.g. Veritasium, Kurzgesagt, PBS Eons, BBC, TED-Ed, Wendover Productions)

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to save articles, leave comments, and follow topics. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

By creating an account you confirm you are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 18, you should have parental consent.

You may sign in with email/password or with a Google account via OAuth. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your email address, name (if provided by Google), and a unique account identifier. We do not access any other Google account data.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Post comments that are abusive, harassing, defamatory, or illegal
• Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or overload the Service
• Impersonate other users or create accounts for malicious purposes
• Use the Service to distribute spam or malware

5. User-Generated Content

Comments and other content you submit remain your property. By submitting, you grant Endless Curiosity a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content on the Service. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of third-party content displayed through the Service. We are not responsible for the content of external websites linked from the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Endless Curiosity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@endlesscuriosity.net. We will delete your account data within 30 days of receiving the request. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date above.
